Micha; our trained Vizsla

Micha Nov 2012 (2)
Golden Meadows is proud to show off Micha, one of our trained Vizslas. Micha is doing absolutely amazing in the training program, he is on spot with all of his commands and loooves people and other animals. He would make a wonderful addition to a loving home in search for a playful and obedient family member. Micha is crate trained, potty trained, and walks on leash nicely.  He enjoys playing fetch and running around the yard just as much as he enjoys relaxing inside the house near you. He is very much like his dad Vincent; Vincent is from our American lines but he is on the larger side. He is about 22″ tall and 60lb’s. He is a great dog, very sweet & eager to please. He loves to climb up in your lap even though he doesn’t fit very well, he still makes himself right at home.  Golden Meadows loves to show off our Vizslas, if you would like to make an appointment to meet Micha, feel free to call or write.

Hurry! Our amazing Vizsla puppies are going quick!

Golden Meadows is happy to announce that Stanley and Arianna’s entire litter has been reserved. We only breed 1-2 Vizsla litters a season and with our Vizsla’s in high demand, the waiting lists fill up quickly. Fortunately we do have vizsla  puppiesfrom Bronte and Conrad available. This waiting list has been started and you do not want to miss out on one of these vizsla pups! The puppies were born December 14th and are available for their new homes at 8 weeks of age on February 8th. Bronte is a fabulous girl who with traditional elegance and beauty shows off the majestic side of the Vizsla breed. This is Conrad’s first litter and we can’t believe how wonderful the pups look. His Hungarian Vizsla background has influenced the pups and we can see a great potential for big and blocky heads. In order to reserve a vizsla puppy from this litter we require only $500 down.  Here are some photos of the puppies we took today:

Marine Cpl Nick Kimmel

Marine Cpl Nick Kimmel purchased Rush, one of our fully trained young adults. Nick who was injured in Afghanistan while on duty by an IED is a triple amputee, having lost both legs and one arm. Cpl Kimmel threw out the ceremonial first pitch in game 2 of the 2012 World Series. Nick has been waiting to receive a trained service dog for himself for over 1 year. After being told repeatedly that the dog which was selected for him was not the right match for him for one reason or another, he decided to look for his own already mannered pup that he could train for his own needs. He took Rush home and will continue his education in Service Dog work.
Rush was chosen to fulfill this very important role in Nicks life based on his intelligence, eagerness to please, and calm demeanor. We look forward to hearing and reporting on Nick and Rush’s progress as they begin this new phase in both of their lives.
