Trained Puppy- Easter Egg Hunt

Every Holiday is a chance to give your golden retriever puppy a new experience. The more new experiences they get the more well rounded they will be as an adult dog. Here are Golden Meadows Retrievers we like to keep the holidays fun and exciting for our puppies as well. Below you will see a video of some of the puppies in our started training program searching for treat filled Easter eggs in the yard.
This is something you can do with your puppy at home, it will stimulate the mind and you will be surprised how quickly they can get to the treats inside. We also did an Easter egg hunt with some of our 8 week old golden retriever puppies, you can watch that video in a previous blog.
Take a look at all of the fun in the video below:

No one is too young to train a puppy!

At Golden Meadows Retrievers we believe that socialization is extremely important for every puppy. Not only do we socialize the puppies with children, but we have the children work with each trained puppy on their commands as well. All of our puppies are worked from only a few days old until the day they go to their forever homes. We are fully staffed and have employees who focus just on ENS, Rule of 7, and Von Falconers Way to ensure that each and every puppy gets the full experience of them all. We truly believe that our puppies go to the homes they are meant for and that by performing all of these techniques on them, they are more well rounded and trainable by the time they enter your home. We not only breed our puppies for their amazing looks but for their outstanding temperaments as well.
Below is a video of one of our trained golden retriever puppies being worked with by Jessica.

Puppy Easter Egg Hunt

At Golden Meadows Retrievers we like to Celebrate the holidays with our puppies. Easter is just around the corner so we thought the puppies deserved an Easter egg hunt after all the hard work they put into their training. The trainers filled the eggs with yummy treats and hid them all around the yard. We watched as the puppies ran around and collected the eggs. These are Maggie and Samson’s puppies and they are all in the training program as started trained Golden Retriever puppies.
